Subsidized Housing

What is Subsidized Housing

A housing subsidy is a payment to help you with your rent, paid to your landlord or to you directly. It's based on your income and is typically 30% of your gross income. This approach is called Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) or Social Housing.

If you do not have an urgent housing need, a housing subsidy may be an option.
