How do I apply?
To apply please call the Child Care Fee Subsidy office at 705-746-7777 ext. 5277 or email subsidy@psdssab.org
NOTES:
- Parents & Guardians can also apply for fee subsidy through the Child Care Application Portal!
- Parents & Guardians are responsible for securing their own child care space.
What Are My Child Care Options?
Child Care Fee Subsidy may be available for families using the following:
- Licensed Child Care Programs (centre-based and home child care) enrolled in CWELCC,
- Licensed Before and After-School Programs enrolled in CWELCC, or
- Some Community Recreation Programs.
Parents make the choice as to where to place their child.

The daily parent fee indicated below is approximate based on % of income and is for illustrative purposes only.
The Provincial Government has capped daily rates at $22 per day effective January 2025 which means the maximum fee a parent will pay in 2025 per day for child care in an eligible centre is $22.
In order to be eligible for fee subsidy parents must place their child in a centre or home child care that is participating in the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC).
