The District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB) was formed by the District Social Services Administration Boards Act in February 1999, and provides social services to 22 Municipalities and Unincorporated areas within the geographic area of the District of Parry Sound.

The DSSAB processes all applications for community housing in the District of Parry Sound. Community housing is funded by various government programs in which tenants pay reduced rents.

EarlyON

EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide opportunities for children from birth to six years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs, and support parents and caregivers in their roles.
