| The shared responsibilities with the Provincial Government, Municipal Government and staff, incorporate the District Social Services Administration Board. This new organization delivers Ontario Works, Child Care, Social Housing and Community Services programs. A fifteen member board was established under the District Social Services Administration Boards Act. The Board, comprised exclusively of Municipal Councillors and elected members from the townships without municipal organization, exercise powers, duties and responsibilities in the territorial district of Parry Sound, relating to Social Services.
